The 12 local associations represent the most important part of TMTA’s mission:
Offering festivals, performances, master classes, community outreach, auditions, and social exchanges for teachers, students and parents.

TMTA Local Auditions
All Local Audition applications are online Elementary, Junior and Senior TMTA auditions begin at the local level in the spring.
Each local association sets its own audition dates and fees.
Students who achieve a rating of “Superior” and meet the TMTA musicianship requirements advance to the TMTA state competitions in the summer.
